I had to replace my clutch assembly over the winter ( over something stupid I don't even want to mention...the clutch assembly itself didn't even go out. ), and that's all the difference I really did. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to go shopping for a better than OEM clutch...but I made sure to get GM direct parts put back in at least. Yesterday, I launched at what I used to, just to see what happened...I burned out down the track until I shifted to fourth, it was mean...for a V6. lol.

It wasn't until about the 6th,7th, and 8th runs I started getting my launches down, and on my last run, I was happy enough for the time I parked her instead of pushing her farther. Here's the slip:

I broke into the 15.4's with one thing changed on my vehicle. The clutch assembly, replaced with a GM OEM part! woohoo!! now I better start modding...I'm actually going into overtime at work.

By the way...I want to break into the 14's AT LEAST by the time I ship out. I joined the United States Marine Corps, and I'm supposed to ship out to Parris by late October/early november. ( I'm hoping to be there before November 10th. =P ), I haven't been to MEPs yet though... :(

not bad, throw a aluminum driveshaft,lsd/3.73s lid and tune and you'll be into the 14s no problem.

im pissed i didnt go, i figured id get out there and it would rain so i didnt bother :rant: might go next week though if i get off my *** and clean the car out and pull some things ive been wanting to pull for weight redux and see what i can do.

Yeah I ran with a little bit of my airsoft equipment in the trunk. lol!! I should've cleared it out.

My friend who's been building his regal wants me to do an Intense 1x cam swap and get some meats. I've been thinking about it, he did it to his 3800S2 S/C ( it's a 91 with a 98 Grand Prix GTP's 3800 S/C... ). I've been thinking about it, and if have some money left over maybe upgrading to 3.73's with an LSD in the rear. I love them...but I do a lot of highway driving. - cough. - and gas prices these days kill my pocket already.

eh, 3.73s wont hurt gas mileage that much since youre a m5.

i dont think ive seen that regal before. sounds like a nice little project

that reminds me, you going out to kilkare this thursday? I'll probably be there...I haven't washed the bird in a long time, mainly because I don't like doing it when it's cold out, and mostly on the good days I'm asleep for work! lol.

yeah, I think I've done a bit good dropping it from 1.xx to .77 at least, My fastest R/T in this car was a .58 but a horrible 60 foot =(
