1st time out @ Norwalk

Got out to the track for the first time ever last night. Its a pretty intimidating place to make your first run ever, or at least thats my excuse for running a 17.1 my first pass. In the end I don't think I did to bad for a '94 3.4 with 175k and nothing but CAI, 3" exhaust, and 245-50r16's. Some of my better runs...

I was having a lot of trouble spinning through 1st and part of 2nd. Really wish I would still have my LSD in. Regardless, I was pretty happy with the 2.25 60' that i put down(I was lined up next to my gf's brother's turbo integra for that run, just a little incentive to let it all hang out). I think I could get that down to about 2.1 with how much I was spinning though once I get my LSD reinstalled.

The only truly disheartening thing about the night was I barely squeaked out a win against a z34 cavalier after owning him off of the line. The thing was a junk bucket too... i really need to start the engine build...

For almost a stock 3.4 that's pretty good.

Got anymore plans for the car?

Just started tearing down the replacement motor for my e85 3400 build. Looking to be around 12:1 CR with the 260 duration cam from comp cams so it should be a pretty nice upgrade. Just need to figure out what i'm doing for pistons.

Hey I'm goin up there this weekend if all goes to plan. Camping out if the grass side is open.. other wise eh hell I'll be camping out on the pavement. You should come.
