  • Some track times!

Nothing special. Just an intake/exhaust Y87 car. My first time out.

Total of 6 runs, first run was the best.. this was 9am, so it was still pretty cool out. It was heating up to about 86 from then to my last run, which likely had an effect.

    r/t ... .376
    60' ... 2.195
    330 ... 6.359
    1/8 ... 9.818
    MPH ... 71.17
    1000' ... 12.837
    1/4 ... 15.394
    MPH ... 88.17

    best r/t was a .132, best MPH was 88.34

I've got some work to do on the 60'. I wasn't able to keep traction. My best 60' was also on my highest tire pressure, I lowered it from 35 to 28 in steps, and they got consecutively worse, 28psi getting the slowest time with the most tire spin for whatever reason.

        2.1 60's are pretty good.
        try 20-25psi in the rear.

I have a set of DRs on 15" rims that I didn't have time to pick up from storage. It's more traction than I need, but I think with the right tire pressure and burnout length, I can get something that works nice. Well see next time I'm at the track, when I'll likely have more power to work with.

Wasn't going for good r/ts. The only time I tried for r/t was my .132 run when I was bracket racing. Pretty decent i'd say for the first try. The rest were slow, but as they don't affect e/t, it doesn't bother me.

It was just my club, so only 6 people made it in to the second round, me included. I was knocked out the second round to a guy that ran a 15.08 on a 15.05 dial. I wasn't too consistent because I was still trying to figure out the best launch for my car.

                        I wish I had your 60 foot...

and I'm a little confused. What kind of tree were you running...I could've sworn the normal tree is .500 and the pro .400??

I don't know.. normal I presume. What does the tree have to do with anything though?

the r/t is measured off of green in this case, so the real r/t from the number in the first post would be .876
