...99's did NOT have tubular manifolds. Headers are a must. Cam is a must if you want to break into 14's. Converter and DR's...with the right cam and a tune maybe even 13's
You do NOT need a cam to get into 14s.
Boltons and tuning is plenty to run 14s. Gears make it even easier.
