• uh-oh found a v-8 i want

hey guys check this out. in the paper i found a 1990 firebird with a 305 tpi with ws6 performance package and a 5-speed. woohoo! ive wished my 3.1 was a 5 speed forever. he wants 3000 for it or best offer so im gonna go check it out tomarrow i dont know what color it is or how many miles...but stock these engines have 225 hp and 300 ft/lbs of tq....hmmmmm speed. and if its bad my mind is already dancing with visions of ls-1's or lt1's hehehe...i love my v-6 but i want some power and 3000 into my car would give me a lot more than 225 hp...but this is a heck of a lot easier.
ill post tomarrow night and let ya's know how it goes. i want that car.

-to keep this tech im also changing my transmision oil and filter tomarrow anyone ever do this...any problems i might come across that you might know of...i can see that im going to have to take this bar off that covers the rear pan bolts but it doesnt look too hard...i havent done it but i have my haynes and chiltons books to help me and the fact im not a complete idiot! Man, I know what the descision making feels like. I am leaning toward a 4th gen LS1 in a bad way. Me and two buds have made a pact of sorts to have LS1s by this time next year. One of my friends in on it, almost got a T/A last year, but instead went with a new Jeep and seems to now be regretting it...my other friend, Steve, he's owned two other Camaros before, and wants a new Corvette....and me, I've been looking at a lot of WS6's lately....me with the Firebird, Joel with the Camaro and Steve with the 'Vette...possible but I'm kind of wary...I couldn't imagine driving one of those machines at my age....I have a full time job as well as a part time working for my dad so I think I could manage payments...I'm just debating on wether or not I DESERVE that kind of car

Trust me anyone who drives a v-6 thirdgen deserves a LS1. :D

so check this out. i have never seen a bigger idiot selling a car and im sad to say he was the owner of an f-body. the seats in this car were all hashed. the paint sucked and he ripped the steering wheel off(including the airbag ) and he put a grant steering wheel off. he was a big liar away and told him how pissed i was that he had wasted my time.

Amen to that brother. My wifes 2.8 Camaro was such a pain in the @ss, I traded it for $500 towards our new Camaro.

Anyone with a v-6 thirdgen is a very patient person.
