Modifications for 3.8s, 3.4s, and 3.1s seem to be common but I can't find anything about 2.8s. If someone could direct me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. Mainly looking for Headers, Forced Induction, etc
Thanks,
Jerriko
the 2.8,3.1,and 3.4 are all basically the same 60* engine. Anything you can do to a 3.1 and a 3.4 can be done to the 2.8.
camaro hunter has developed headers to fit our 2.8's and 3.1's. he is making the y-pipe also. the cost of a supercharger or a turbo is going to be very high. but hey if you got the money for it do it!
your money might be better spent on a used 3.4 taken to an engine shop to have a performance rebuild done IMO.

GM PERFORMANCE SELLS A 2.8 UPGRADE MOTOR IT IS A 3.4 40 MORE HORSES BUT HAS A HIGH PRICE OF 2,254.00 ALSO IVE FOUND YOU CAN CROSS REFRENCE THE HEADERS TO THE 2.8 S10 I BELIVE THEY WILL FIT
As a wuick mod I did in my 85, if your airbox is in front of hte radiotor and cut out the bottom of the airbox, and connect some hoses to put thorugh the fornt bumper support and go straight to the little fornt vents I did htis and gained some power on the highway. I also had K&N drop in filters.

I got a Turbo KKK type for a mercedes for 61 off ebay, and I will probly be getting a intercooler for under 50, and a blow off valve(required for manuals) for under $5. So 100 bucks plus headers for turbo install is not bad...
