So my custom chip just showed up in the mail, and I realized I don't know where this thing goes, is it inside the black/silver casing above the distributer. Also are the chips directional, can I install it backwards?

I tgoes in your ecm. disconect your neg batt cable. Ibelieve the ecm is on the pass side, under dash. silver box. ground yourself befor disconnecting any wiring harnedsses from it. remove box. remove accecc cover. ground yourself again. remove old chip, ground, place in new chip "firmly", make sure it is seated. replace access cover. replace ecm, connect battery start up.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:
