  • 2.8 future plans

    I have a v6 2.8 i was planning on getting a new engine some big monster from a catolog or something.But who wants to follow the crowd I think it'll be a great challenge.
    step1=Get the car running first(done)
    step2=Upgrade the suspension
    step3=performance parts for the engine(some)
    step4=Put her on a diet, try to knock of as much wieght as possible
    step5=Customize interior(some still experimenting)
    step6=Customize exterior

    I bet there is a LOT of extra space in that engine bay...

      Have you seen how much space in available in third generation F bodies with 2.8 v6's? It is great!

        yes, HUGE amount of room between the fan & pullies w/the 6. just perfect for a turbo & stuff ;)

          Thanks for all the supportive comments and advice
          i'll try to get some pics of the g-ride so you guys can see what she looks like so far. I'll try to e-mail them to whoever is curious.Mods and upgrades will be slow but they will get done, i work two full time jobs my son is one of them. ;)
          Keep the ideas and advice coming they are appreciated.

            hehe I remember working on my 85 2.8L and standing in the engien compartment infornt of the motor.
