  • Flowmaster Muffler???

Okay, those of you with 3.1L or smaller engines, which flowmaster muffler would you recommend? I've read posts about the 80 series and people likin' 'em, but readin' through Jeg's, I'm eyeing the 50 series. I have a single-in/dual-out system now, and I wanna' keep it like that, but I want a good, deep sound. Also, is the 80 series the only one that'll fit in the OEM mount space? If so--disregard all the above. Any help would be appreciated.

There basically almost similar. Though not pretty sure if series 50 have any edge at all. I went with the 80 series because it is the most compatible thing for 3rd and 4th gen f-bodies. But hey, give 50 series a try and let us know how it works out.

i think flowmaster makes this, a single in single out cat back. only seen it on the 4th gen cars, but the muffller should be available. Nice tone/loudness. even on the sixes. check out the manufacturers web site for more info on the available mufflers for your car.
