I'll never sell my '89 TA. I'm on this board because of my '97.

I'm here!! An 89 black Firebird XS in great condition. Right now it's getting alot of stereo modification. I'll be cool once its finish this month. It's a great reliable car with good looks.

Oh yeah this is one vechicle that will never see a use car lot or a junk yard. I'm or my brother are keeping this for life. ;)

I searched long and hard to find a 5-speed third gen.

I found it in my 1989 Trans Am. I will never sell this car.

I'm on this board because I drive the '97 more than the '89. I think it's cool what people are doing with their sixes.

I might even supercharge my six if the kit ever comes out. Then I'll keep both cars.

a kit will never come out for the 3rd gen 2.8/3.1. You can, however, see if there are any in the works for the 3.4 & modify from that.

3rd Gen running smooth as ever! Have a clicking noise that I cant seem to find, but other than that Im happy!

I wish there were more 3rd Gen resources, it seems as though people are only interested in 4th Gen on this message board (present forum exluded).

my third gen camero with a 2.8 has treated me just fine. I've owned for 10 years, the 2nd owner, and will probably keep for another 10.

Well my brother gave me his 91 RS, but I've yet to drive it very much due to Jersey's sucky *** laws for us kids. Anyways, I've played with it a lot and it's workin' just fine for 11 years of runnin hard. Shocks are completely gone, but my brother left em that way. Keeps the ride a little rough and keeps you awake on long hauls.

Got a 92 Firebird that runs like a dream. It took a little time to get her there. She suffered from a sporadic idle for a time, but worked that out and is doing just fine. I've heard this is common of the 3.1 liter Firebirds. Had a 2.8 liter carburated 1983 Camaro that gave me no problems what so ever.
