I have my 92 firebird, but it was in winter storage since September 2001, I'm getting it out on Sunday to get my 2030 cam fixed and headers installed. I'm going to post more, but I haven't had the car out in so long.

i have a 3rd gen and it runs like new. and no i dont plan on doin an engine swap i wanna see how far i can push my 2.8

Got my son's '92 RS running again tonight. Man, the fuel pump is a bear...

So we got the tank back in, and re-aligned the filler neck. Got the exhaust back on. Couldn't get one of the little heat shields back on quite right yet, and the bolts for the panhard rod are not going all the way through. But it starts and runs again, after sitting for 6+ months!!

Transmission is next... It won't stay in reverse, 1st, or 2nd.

I have the oldest third gen here. But it still isn't running-the fuel pump took a crap right after I put the new carb on.

I have been lucky so far that nothing has happened drastically to my car, mechanically taht is. Though, I am getting a running 3.1 motor from a friend os mine this summer for $150. I am going to work on it in my garage and build it up little by little. Not going to swap motors until mine goes first and I am sure that will be awhile.

are you going to get the 3.4 kit for it, or stay 3.1 w/forged pistons for future power added fun [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]
