• MORE POWER! 3.1LT V6

I posted this question under General earlier, but I'm posing it again here being that this is for 3rd Generation Camaros. It seems that everyone has a 3.4 and larger motors ... Starting to wonder if I have the only 3.1lt Camaro in existance...? LoL

I'm wanting to max out the power on my 3.1lt V6 without spending a whole lot of money, if possible. Eventually, in the future, I would like to get an IROC, but until then, I'm stuck with this and I want to make the most of it

    Hope someone can help!

For your next mod, I would recommend a cold air intake that you make yourself. I could really feel a difference after I put the intake in. It helps the most at higher speeds. Here are some instructions on that.

It is easy to do and a lot cheaper than if you were to buy a professionally made intake. Also check out the TB Bypass in the modifications encyclopedia.

faster, but cheaper....the better intake as mentioned above, aftermarket exhaust, roller tip rockers, nitrous. use no more than a 75 shot on stock pistons. aftermarket ignition, shift kit. fiberglass hood, not so big tires to cut the weight.

      and what's wrong with a 3.4 ;)

I know your pain. I just sold my 91 RS with the 3.1. Great car, pathetically slow. I used to get my a** handed to me regularly by anything. Just got my 97 'bird. There is no replacement for displacement. Even that little bit difference LOL. Good luck on the mods though.
