new tranny, new mounts, new tach, new front springs, engine harness, if emissionas isn't a problem, go w/carb set up. easiest to swap in. TV or kickdown cable, depending on tranny. AFPR, exhaust system, headers aplenty though.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built

Wouldn't you just need to swap the blocks out?
edit: eh, I'm a dummy. I forgot that not all Berlinettas came with a 305. I recently picked an '85 up for a little over a grand. T-tops, carb 305, power (fully working) interior, and a straight body. Not a bad deal. I'd just have to swap out the 305 block and maybe a few other things, right?
As for a v6, or 4 banger, swap, it would be the typical painfull procedure. Motor mounts, new tranny, new driveshaft?, tranny mounts?, etc.
