In my own opinion, if you are not going to be doing any real performance stuff then I would not invest in either. If you are going to be doing performance stuff then go for it. If you are going to be doing more around town little races here and there I would say strut tower brace. If you can find one. I believe, though I could be wrong, that you would have to have one customed made. If you have found one then by all means, let us know where. If you are going for more drag-style performance and have some real power, then go sub-frame. Again, if I am not mistaking, sub-frame connectors help you more for draging, they reduce the twisting the body does. The strut brace helps in cornering. I could be wrong in everything I say but that is how it has been explained to me in the past. Hope this helps in anyway.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I did find the Strut Tower Brace and the Subframe Connectors at Thunder Racing.

either one will help your car "feel" better, tighter. sub frames suk, and anything we can do to improve our cars is worth it. I agree w/Setzer on which mod goes best w/your driving intent, but having both on is better ;)1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built

I really dont want to be a pain, but the Strut Brace on ThunderRacing is for TPI motors. To my understanding those wont work for our cars because our motors sit higher up. I would give them a call and ask, it never hurts to try. AS for the sub-frame connectors, those will work, no matter V6 or V8. Hope this helps some more. Again, not trying to be a pain just letting you know what I have heard so you dont buy the wrong thing.
I also agree 3.4 that both are better to have. So I would try for both!

I remember seeing that but I didnt like how weak they looked. Yeah, it is only $30, but it still looked cheap to me. If I wanted something like that I would make it myself. I had a guy here in FLA that would make a 3-pt brace for our V6 motor. About $150 if I could get min. 10 people, but no one liked the idea so I just gave up on it. For one he wanted about $200, if I ever get desperite enough I will go back to him and have him make me a custom one.
