  • Throttle Problem

The car will accelerate fine for gears 1 and 2.
When I shift into 3rd, 4th, and 5th the pedal with travel halfway to the floorboard before any fuel is sent into the engine. You can sit there an play with it moving it back and forth, but untill you hit that certain point the engine wants to slow down to idle rpm range.

So to get around it quick as possible I just push down the clutch and let the engine hit about 600-700 rpm and then I can push down onthe gas, let out the clutch and that little delay is gone.

Any idea what could look at or replace to fix this ?
