I think im going to go and buy that motor I was talking about. The Vortec 4300 (4.3L). Im going to throw it up on an engine stand, tear it apart, hot tank it, and rebuild it over the next couple of months.
I want to put a performance cam, and heads on it. But not sure what kind to get.
First of all, I want to get all the specs from the motor, such as engine code, HP, Torque, etc all that good stuff.
I am not to sure on those exact specs but check the truck sites, I would look into if you could do a syclone conversion on the motor, and prep it for osme sort of forced induction in the future.
