I would like to swap motors in my car. I'm looking for something cheap (not too cheap), maybe a 3.8L / Tranny kit? Does anyone know where I might find these new/used (other than the junk yard)?
I would like to upgrade to a 350 of course, but its just a tad bit over my price range.
other than a junkyard?....no. might even be the same price or comparable if ou plan to go 8 later on. See about putting in a 3800 Series II in it. The GP can scream, even w/o a supercharger [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

CA Emissions will be the downfall. anything other than the "origonal" engine will need to go thru certification. Go to www.thirdgen.org , go into the V6 section & get intouch with KED85. he did the 2.8-3.4 swap boogie & passed CA e-check w/the 3.4. tell him Project sent ya ;)

oh man, my exhaust is a joke, my pipe snapped 6" before the cat and it was louder than hell, I was with my girlfriend at the time too. embarrassing.
I cannot wait to redo it all. I was waiting for my engine upgrade to take care of that however, but what do you think ? might as well get it done with now...
