    I'm lost..what is it?

    Hey,
    I have a 88 camaro with the 2.8v6 in it. Lately after the car warms up and I'm driving I get a sudden drop in the rpms and the car feels like it's gonna shut off (but doesn't). Almost feels likes it's restricted in some way. I replaced the wires, plugs, coil, fuel filter, checked the cat. About 8000 miles ago I replaced the module, cap and rotor. Anybody shed some light on this prob. for me?

    check fuel pressure, vaccum hoses. Do you still have a MAF, or is it a speed density setup (i.e. MAP sensor only)? Check the air filter too.
    if MAF, make sure its clean & check AIT also. a clean sweep of sensors ;)

      The car has the maft. I checked all the vacuum hoses and sensors and everything checks out ok. I replaced the rotor and cap. Car is running great now.
