When I apply the brakes during a stop, the idle drops way low and starts to get rough. Once im at a stop, idle goes back to normal. Seems like it might be a fuel delivery prob but im not sure. Any Ideas?

Yea, about 2 weeks back i reset the computer, i did notice it starting these problems after that. A nother funny thing, seems like when im idling in park, i press the brake and it has a slight affect on the idle. weird.91 Camaro RS 3.1 Auto
CAI
TB Bypass
Dynomax ST Catback Exhaust
15x7 AR Gamblers on GT Qualifiers
Dont Mess With The RS

I am having the same problem, but its not as bad. The idle will drop when I slow down or stop, but it will not die.
How do you reset the computer exactly? I was told to unhook your battery for 1 hour. I tried this and then reconnected the battery and drove the car and noticed no difference.

When you disconnect the battery for more than a minute or so the computer will reset. The problem with the 3.1 is that the only way you can reset your Idle Air Control (IAC) solenoid is to use a scan tool or to drive your car around for three days for the computer to reset it. If your IAC has gone bad the computer can't reset it. The other thing you can do is pull it off and clean it up, be extremely careful not twist the pindel or push it in and out when cleaning. I pulled mine off and found carbon all over it and down inside on the TB.91 Firebird 3.1
SC12 Supercharger
LSD w/ 3.73s
NOS 80hp wet shot
AKA: Phoenix
\"If Speed Kills...Consider Me Dead.\"

I agree with North Cali. I would check the Idle Air Valve. I replaced mine about a month ago. I would suggest just taking it out and cleaning it. Though, if you do go and put in a new one take the time to clean out the area in which it came from. I would also recommend cleaning in the TB a little. I did this and my car starting running smoother then ever. After years these things start to build up with GUNK!!
