Hey guys My friends PARENTS just bought him a newer mustang (not sure what year its a 3.8.) if i race him (were not crazy so we stop at the speed limit, like 40mph) whaddya think my chances are? i raced him once already but it was raining and he, like a idiot, just floored it and spun his tires so i smoked him, any way i wanna know what im up against thx!

If he has the older 3.8, I believe they only made around 150 horsepower, and it sounds like he is a bad driver, so I think you would win. Even if he has the newer model, if you are good at launching your car and he isn't I think you would have a chance at winning since you are only racing to 40 mph. If he does have the newer model, the less mph you race to, the better your chances are of winning. Good luck man, make us 3rd gen V6ers proud [img]smile.gif[/img]
