go with the cranes fireball ignition or whatever you call it, much better and more high tech. I would not get one on a stock motor, more gains with a new cap/rotor, plugs, 8mm wires, coil
I have an Accel coil and love it.

I still haven't installed mine yet .
got it off e-bay for about $104. need to break down & get adaptor cable for it. I'm gonna keep the current coil, and get an aftermarket coil, maybe, when I hook it up. as for plugs, from what I've read in this site, do not run platnum plugs w/msd boxes. I'm gonna put in rapid fires & see how they do.
for the record:
99 GRGT has stock plugs , platinum I believe
95 Blazer has the Bosch +4
so I'm not biased to any plug yet

hey 86camarodriver, do you happen to have the part numbers for the accel coil and the crane ignition system? o, and 3.4slowtogo, keep me updated on how the msd works. still undecided on which one to get
1992 Camaro RS
Performance: K/N filter and custom CAI
Stereo/Electronics: 10\" Kicker Subwoofers, DEHP-4400 Pioneer Head Unit
Maintenance: New brake lines, New transmission mount
Upcoming: Flowmaster American Thunder Catback, Catco Catalytic Converter
go to summitracing.com then go to ignition and the crane fireball is in there, it iis universal for all cars, you will have to call for the coil unless someone knows the number.

unless Jegs changed the price, the mallory unit is $115. a very good deal. I got the msd before the new mallory unit came out. Take a field trip to Columbus w/a buch of $$$$$$$$. I did that to get the dynomax exhaust systems for both the Blazer & the 'Bird. also got many, many parts for my old bonnie. I usually went to the North 11th st store, it's thier main one. If you can, go to the redlineVsix.com shindig on the 28th-3rd. am pretty sure they'll do a traditional caravan to the big aftermarket stores. ;)
