i was wondering , how do you find and get rid of the governor in a 1992 firebird i was told that maybe the only way is to buy a power chip, this true? if not ,what can i do to get rid of the governor

it is a chip. 2 ways to get rid of governer:
a) fast chip, jet chip, sper chip, hypertech chip,.....etc
or
b) convert to a non-cc carb set up & get hei distributor from mid 70's car.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:
