  • Started on the project again

Had to do some minor repair on the dash. The adhesive wasn't sticking, so I added a little more & persuaded it stick w/that awesome sears staple gun :D . I got the pass side door panel off, and just need to go to AZ & get that blue carpe they sell, about 3 rolls should take care of the door panels & rear hatch area. Pics wil be done as soon as " http://www.thenebula.com/carpics/ " ever comes back up :(

The first link has too many http:\\ in it but I got there and I definitly agree, that interior should go, I'm assuming you put the wheels on it that are in the picture, the same that are on my bird, another good move IMO. I've finally been enlightened to the wonders of wet-sanding and have started to get rid of all that ugly overspray from the last paint job, already looking better. Keep up the project and keep us posted.

I have the cool looking 5 spokes, but the tires are bad. just another thing to spend $$$$ on :(

Thanks for the comments. I had the same color interior in my 77 T/A. didn't like it then, still don't like it.

What kind of tires are you putting on the wheels? I've heard good things about the Kumho Supras despite the wierd name I think I'm going to go for a set next time I need tires. I also started polishing my 5 spoke wheels today. I'm not worried about how they look while I'm working on them so they'll be left on the car.

Looking good man! I like the blue a lot better for the doors. Those new rims look good too (nice and clean), I really liked mine but they were just too dirty (and I was missing 2 caps). I tried to fix them up but ended up just getting new wheels. Looking at that first picture, you have one of the cleanest, nicest looking 3rd gens I have seen. How old is that paint job? It looks like it is in good condition, no scratches or rock chips. I still love what you did with that engine! The blue on it looks awesome. Keep up the good work!

The picture doesn't show any of the light rust, or the one small hole inthe driver rear qtr panel, which a little fiberglass repair can fix up. I think Ill be getting my tires from the www.tirerack.com , they have good prices & I can have them mounted cheap @ the auto hobby shop o base :D . For the centercaps, there's a bg flea amrket where I live that sells new ones w/lockingspring feature for like $15-$20 each

              Anybody need brown/tan rear carpet...cheap? ;)
