my tranny is messed up ever since some lady hit me while i was parked and pushed my ride back a few inches so a friend of mine who also has a 3rd gen v6 said he'd sell me his for $125 and that it has 50,000 miles on it is this a good deal and should i try and put it in myself once we get it pulled or leave it to the pro's. by the way it's the 700-r4 with automatic overdrive.

you'll need 15/17mm sockets, same size stuby wrench, rubber mallet, about 3-4' of extensions, 15mm socket for cross mbr, what ever size for the u-joint straps, misc connections, (shifter). electrical connector is just plastic conector. biggest bytch will be getting it to line back up w/the pilot bearing/bushing.
THis is in addition to the jacks, stands, & other tools you already have.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built
