I'm looking at buying an Iroc. I was woundering if it is possible to take the dash out and swap it with a newer style, like a 97 or so? Also has anyone here an LT1 or an LS1 in there Iroc? How much money was the entire swap?
    Thanks
    Joe

The dash can be swapped to look great, but its quite a bit of work. The center console and door panels will swap much more easily.
The LT1 in the 3rd gen is becomming a fairly common swap. The LS1 is slowly becomming more popular, but is a bit more difficult due to engine differences. However, there is now a kit availible for this swap.

Check out the thirdgen.org board, motor swap and interior forums.
      Good luck.
