Well to answer your question, Trunks, I have heard lots of good things about Dynomax on your cars. My friend has a 92 3.1L RS and because of what he has heard on this site, he put a dynomax muffler on his car and it sounds great! Not sure what the cat-backs sound like though.

I have only heard Flowmaster 40 and 80 series mufflers on third gen V6's, and here's my opinion. The 40 series is loud, very loud. A neighbor used to have a nice looking 89 Camaro and I could hear it driving up the street from inside my house with the windows shut (and the closest it got to my house was 4 houses down). It didn't sound like an import or anything, but it isn't as deep as the 80 series. The 80 series is probably 2nd in loudness, only after the 40 series, and as I mentioned, it sounds deeper and meaner. I think the 80 series sounds great, especially at lower rpm's. It starts getting a little higher pitched above 4k rpm's, but I don't think it sounds bad, however I haven't heard it from outside the car at high rpm's. So if you are going for a loud, but deep sound, I'd say go for the 80 series, and you can't beat the price either.

I went with the Dynomax catback cause its tough to beat for the price. Sounds good, especially at idle, but not too loud. Ive heard the Flowmasters get kinda ricey at higher rpm but thats just what Ive heard. Either way I think you'll be pleased.
