whats the top speed of a stock 91 v6 firebird, i was wonderin cuz i cant get mines to push faster than about 117, i got flowmasters on it but i dont think that'll make much of a difference

Well its probably speed limited to 118mph.

That's your top speed, because the tranny won't allow you to run full throttle in fourth gear. You can adjust the throttle valve slightly to get a little more top end but acceleration will suffer and shifts will be sooner.Comment

The computer limits it to 118 but your car will run out of steam around 120 completely stock. Figure another 2-3 MPH top speed with a CAI and exhaust. I've had mine to 110 and it was slowly accelerating, then I thought I saw a cop and found out what a panic stop in a non-ABS car feels like.
