Take out the old one and put the new one in

Seriously though, this doesn't belong here.

Anyways, the matter isn't as simple as just putting in a new cluster. I belive if you do this, your spedeo and tach will read incorrectly.

Use the search function, this is a topic that has been discussed many times, for a long time.

Why would a V8 Formula even come with a 120 MPH speedo?

Are you taking about a 3rd Gen F-body (did they even make Formulas then)? I believe some of those came with actual 115 MPH speedos. They weren't EFI so IIRC they don't actually have a PCM that controls the speedo.
