If its a 350 swaped car then thats a good deal IMO. It does not say power numbers but you can assume at least a 300 hp motor. Check under the car for rust and check the bushings on the suspension. If they are cracking and falling apart then the suspension is done. Check the seams between the hood and the fender, if they are not straight then the hood is not aligned right or it was in a wreck, also look in the front wheel wells, if one side has a rubber spot and the other does not then it was hit. I can't see the pics because I have a 56k computer but as long as the interior, and body is in good shape for a 350 5 speed that is a good deal.

I think that if there are no major problems, it is a gool deal. As for the HP, could be almost anything. I had an 85, camaro w/350 cam, heads, intake, carb, forged rods&pistons, and so on, and mine could whoop on the Ls1's. So im guessing mine had 330+HP. While some 350 engines are lucky to pull off 275hp. I dont know, but it looked like a cool car.

I just looked at all teh pics. It loks better than mine did when I first got it. Plus you got T-Tops. test it w/a hose first, to see if any repairs need to be made & it wont just sneak up on ya. $2200, sounds sweet to me.

With T-tops (I learned this since I'm getting a car with Ts no question) you need to care for them. Every month or so, take some silicone based lubricant and rub it into the seals. Also, take them off at least once a week and put them back on. All this will keep it from leaking. Actually it could still leak a little but if it does there's pretty much nothing to do for it except replace all the weather stripping.

For a cool project, I'd like to see someone swap a TPI setup from a later model year onto an early 350. I don't think the 5-speed could take it though, at least GM thought so since they never offered a TPI 350 with a manual trans. Keep us posted on it, I love the third gens.

Is this car really an original 5 spd car or did someone drop a 5 spd in it? It's not that hard. I am curious though. A couple of original 5 spds that I have seen puked under heavy load from the 305s. If that 350 has some real balls, this may be a concern.

theres a place called g-forcetech.com or something
they beef up your t-5 and supposedly hold to about 500hp
you send in a core, and its about under a grand i think for them to beef it up

I'm sure it's been done already, but how about a 6sp swap into it ;)

If you buy the car just dont dog it. It will blow that tranny easily. Thats why they just had the 5 speeds on the 305's.
