Did anyone know that the adjustable caps that several companies make for the V8 engines for GMs also have the same bolt pattern as the regulator caps for our V6s? I just got one and it works great! Just thought I would pass the word.

Yes, some work. One I got was too tall to fit under my upper intake. So I made my own. It's also a hell of a lot cheaper to turn your current one into an adjustable than it is to go buy one.
Some things I agree on making myself but that doesn't sound like the best idea. I vacuum leak there would result in bad fuel economy. You just can't put a bolt do the middle of the stock cap and expect it to seal.

What do you think the ones you buy are? But I understand what you're saying, it does work though. Either way it doesn't really matter. The ones I've seen are bulged up higher so I never could get it to fit under my intake. Even when I had the bolt in mine it was to high. So I just stuck a spacer under the cap and that worked great.
Hey Jerriko, did you post on the performance question but meant to post here? It only took me once to guess the right spacer, amazingly enough. I had to put a spacer under the cap so the bolt had a good place to push against. The piece on top of the spring was dished so I put the spacer in there. I was able to get a short bolt in there but it was too much pressure, and the pump couldn't keep up with 60psi. So I took it out and the spacer increased the pressure by 5-6psi. The spacer is just a piece you punch out of a small electrical box that the conduit would attach to. I'll try to get an exact thickness. The bad thing is it didn't improve 1/4 mile times at all. I hope you have better luck.
Oops, I posted in the wrong spot. Don't know how that happened? :rolleyes: Anyways, I need to control fuel pressure since I will have to use the rail/injectors on the 3.4L I am working on. I don't have the injectors for it so the only thing I can do for now is increase fuel pressure so the proper amount of fuel is injected into the motor.
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
