the problem I have with the 3rd gen v6 stuff is you can put a v8 in a 3rd gen for like $400 and make it run mid 12's for another $1000. Maybe its just me

Then again, these engines run for up to 200k miles and beyond with basic maintnance. Not as unique as the 4-banger f-bodies but they still have a unique quality when they're modded.

$400? Is that including the price of the motor? New tranny, front springs, new tach, etc.................not to mention e-check if applicable

edit: just keeping it real, homey ;)

I completely agree. $400 to install and buy a V8 and another $1000 to make it run 12s? Sounds a little far fetched. But thanks anyways, now you have gone and turned this into a debate about which motor is better than the other. Where have I seen that before?
