That should say .004". There's a big difference between 4 and 40 thousandths. And thanks.

I spoke with a representative from SLP today and he told me that when GM makes changes from year to year they will use overstock first and then switch to the newer parts. I have heard of GM doing this in the past and it would explain why some 89 F-bodys would have 26 or 28 spline axles.

what did they say if you have the 26 splines, just send it back?

He said that you should verify your spline count before you order. I said that they should have put that inforrmation on the website so people knew that they may not have the right spline count.

That's good enough for 3rd overall in the n/a 3.4L listing on the timeslip page. It should also be noted that this pass was made without my headers installed and the trans was getting funky with the 2-3 shifts at WOT. I think the trans is fixed now. On the dyno, it works fine. Hopefully, I can get one more chance at the strip this year to see how much faster I can get her. Don't take any **** from anyone with a 3.1 or 3.4!

wowo what mods? my 2.8L I think only hit 17s, I wasn't ath big into cars, but then I got into it with my 3.4L.

I submitted the time a couple of weeks ago. The mods can be found at my website but here's the quick list:
                  -CAI w/ K&N
-P/P throttle body and upper/lower plenum and intake
-MSD 6a ignition, MSD blaster coil, Accel 8.8 Race wires, NGK plugs
-custom dual exhaust w/ H pipe and dual Dynomaxes (2.5")
-Rebuilt 700R4 w/ shift enhancer and shift kit (Transgo) and 3300 stall converter (TranStar) w/ dual trans coolers
                  -3.23 LSD rear end
                  -manual fan switch
                  -manual 7th injector switch

The tracks have been closed for the rest of the season in my area. So more runs will have to wait til next year. The best thing about the mods is that I still haven't installed the Pacesetter headers that I have modified for my car. I am installing a 3.4 next spring and a rebuilt rear end w/ 3.73 richmond gears and an Auburn LSD.

how'd you rig the cold start injector?

The 7th injector (cold start) doesn't pulse like the other injectors. It's either on or off. The ecm controls the ground. I just spliced into the ground wire and attached it to a toggle switch. Instant fuel. Best thing about the intake setup with the cold start injector is that that is a perfect place to install a dry NOS setup. It will supply every port and help cool off the intake at the same time.

Because I knew that I would forget some of the mods:
                        -TB coolant bypass
                        -Custom trailing arms (tubular)
                        -ASP underdrive pulleys
                        -Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
                        -SFCs
                        -KYB struts and shocks
