I know, I know...
It's a fram just for the initial fireup. Once the cam is broken in, I change the oil and filter. The intake will be aluminum.
What will your new name be Maybe you could make a contest out of it.

Dunno, depends on if I cain bribe the admins again. "3.8 slow to go" has a ring to it, butI dunno ;)

edit: I see the base manifold in FRAM color too. Gonna use those two colors for the engine, w/black highlights?

edit2: Damn, guess I cain no longer think about the Fiero Valve Covers

I guess the orange is something that carried over from my childhood. I grew up a chevy boy. Anyways, it will be just orange, aluminum and chrome. The Fiero GT valve covers didn't fit either because of the oversized valve springs.

Are you looking to go with a F.I. or carb setup?

It will still be FI. I have some injectors and a throttle body off of a 350 TPI. Need the larger injectors and TB to even each other out. The cam demands the increased intake numbers.

ever see this?

http://www.mustangeater825.50megs.co...ics/dualTB.jpg

its a middle 2.8L intake, with pipes attached to the top running 2 stock size 3.4L TBs...

kind of complicated but a fiero guy showed a 26hp to the ground difference before and after on a stock 4th gen f-body 3.4L...

Yes, I have seen that before. I have the pic saved in my folder of future projects. I have talked with Tiago about the intake and I have decided to go with the TPI throttle body for now since its easier.

also "aquire" his roller rockers, he wont miss them ;)

Yeah, how didi he synchronize teh tb's? just more volume available to to each side instead of sharing the whole intake track.

Who's roller rockers? I haven't got any yet. I wanted dyno results without roller rockers, headers, etc so I good see actual gains with those components.

Tiago has teh Gold Race full roller rockers, those $300 ones.

p.s. Who does your bro work with @ DHP? Currently a Dave Buckshaw & Jason Jeross are looking into programming for my 3800 PCM, mainly the VATS/PASS-KEY bypass/delete.

Unfortunately, I haven't met any of the other people that work with my brother at DHP. I know that one goes by the screen name of Zoomer on these boards. My brother does FWD 3800s, Zoomer seems to do RWD 3800s and there is another guy in MI that does older stuff.

Hey, where is Alton? And I am using the TB off of a 350 TPI setup. Doesn't that TB just make the old one want to hide and run away.
