    not really tech updates, waitning on funds for that, but some pics for the masses [img]smile.gif[/img] :

    the 3.8 seems to fit qite nice in the third gen [img]smile.gif[/img]

    tho I myself would put in a vortec 4.3 If I had a 3rd genner

      Not sure about that one, I guess it could go either way but I would choose the 3800. Vortecs aren't that good.
      So any ideas when this little project will be finished?

        in stock truck tune the vortec only makes 190 hp,but is really easy to get alot of power outa those suckers

          Maybe, but the same is true out of the 3800. I guess it would just be personal preference.

            stick a non-truck cam in the vortec, then it'll wake up.
            Kinda like the crane cams for the 2.8~3.1 choices, low-mid power (truck use), or upper rpm power (f-body)

              Yes, those cams are nice. That is the one I put in the 3.4L. But I don't think those cams are a good selection for a 4.3L.
