  • Update on the new 3.4L intake...

Pic of the new intake installed.

It did everything that I wanted it to do.
    -Improved top-end speed/power
    -Improved idle
    -Improved air/fuel mixture

Oh, and did I mention that is goes that much faster. Hopefully, I will get dyno results tomorrow.

It's the belt routing for the 3.4L minus the A/C compressor. Alternator to balancer to water pump to power steering to tensioner back to the alternator.

Yes, that's strange. Your tensioner is on the bottom while mine is on the top.

Also the routing of teh belt around the water pump. I kept it the same as SEEN HERE and the stickers shown in the holy book haynes verify that routing.

Oh, they love me. They really love me. You can tell them Edelbrock makes a 4 bbl carb intake for the 60* motors. I saw it listed on Summit.

Yeah, but he's looking for a single plane, like a Victor or Torker intake.

That's my custom intake. 1/2 350 TPI and 1/2 2.8 plenum. The only problem I am having with the setup is the MAF which I will be reprogramming after a couple other modifications.

                        thatspurdy darn sweet there ;)

as for the belt, your altinator brace/idler pully is from the 3rd gen 2.8, thats why the pully is on top,the 3.4 has it on the bottom

Ok, I had parts everywhere and I just started throwing them at the car in the end. As long as it works and it has survived revs up to 6,500.
