My friend and I are putting a new 350 ramjet in his Camaro, im thinking that the 2.8 tranny wont bolt up so what kind of tranny do we need?

any Chevy V8 tranny should bolt right up. Sphn even carries tranny k-members for TH-400s.
V6 auto will not fit the v8 pattern1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:

Sorry, I read that wrong the first time. The V6 tranny will not work with the V8 application. Like 3.4 (soon to be 3.8) said, any V8 tranny will work. Just make sure you stay away from the new ones that have electric shift solenoids.
