• 82 dash removal?

Anyone else remove the entire dash on thier third gen? We have to repair the firewall on our 82, and the dash has to come out to do so (can't leave that in there while welding!! Sooo, has anyone taken thiers out & have any tips/tricks? We've had the gauge pod out before, but never the whole thing! Good thing we have a Pontiac manual, lol...

Yeah, have fun taking the half million screws out lol. (I did it once)

I have a shop manual for a 82 or 83 camaro if you want it, missing the covers but besides that its all there.
    Black 96 Z/28, A4, T-tops, tint, 2.73 LSD, Kenwood.

Previous Camaro: Bright white 86 Camaro, MPI 2.8 A4 3.42, tint, Z-28 wheels, a few goodies.

Yeah, I'd say so! So just A LOT of screws huh? Fuunnn...

Thanks guys! 86camarodriver, thanks for the offer-we've already got 2 factory shop manuals (one good one, and one greasy one!), that was the very first thing we hunted down for the project!
