• Sound clips of my exhaust.

I just thought I would post something new on the 3rd gen board. These are some clips of my exhaust.
Idle
Revving
It smokes because its a little cold.

Hello?
Is there anyone out there?
Or is no one replying because of how is sounds shocking similiar to the likes of a Ricer...
The exhaust only has 1 1/2 psi of backpressure. Hopefully, the headers will change the sound of it a little.

Haha I don't think aynbody is replying because you posted it in the 3rd gen board instead of intake/exhaust
It does sound kind of high pitched :(
What exhaust do you have?
I have 3" and a Flowmaster and it sounds good.

It's a custom setup. True dual (2 1/2" pipes) exhaust with a H-pipe and Dynomaxes. I went with the dynomaxes cause I thought that the flowmasters were too loud. It was low pitched until I installed the Gold Racer rocker arms. Then it got loud again. I guess I should mention that when I am revving it, the tach is going to 6,000 rpm

Well, seeing how I have spent some money in this engine, I was hoping that I could avoid the 'rickety v6 sound' but somehow ended up with the riceroni sound. :(

believe it or not...
The computer programming + MSD DIS-4 made a HUGE difference. I see you are running an MSD as well, is that an MSD 6AL?

I will try to go make another sound clip tonight...

It's a 6A. I went to distributor so I didn't need the DIS-4. Until I reprogram the computer, the rev limiter sits at 6,000 so it just bounces like mad. I can't wait to do that but it has to wait for the LSD w/ 3.73s, T5 conversion and headers. I have all of these parts lying around and no time to do anything with them. :(

haha its a good thing you are getting LSD with those 3.73s! I just got 3.73s with no LSD and it is kind of hard to launch the car :D
How much did you pay for your headers? AMM had the ceramic coated pacesetter's on sale for $270 right now, I wish I had money for them :( Damn college takes every last penny of mine heh.
I guess you can at least look at it this way, no time to install all these modifications. I need to fix my car before it gets modified anymore heh. It's getting a few problems right now :(
