• Weird Battery Problem

Okay, my car died like a month ago, so I replaced the battery. Worked fine. Then it died again, so I charged the battery and replaced the alternator. Worked fine, 'till today. I'm sittin' at a stoplight, and I look down at my battery gauge, and it's readin' like 10-11 volts. WTF? No rough idle, nothin'. . .I get to the restaurant and shut it off and try to fire it off again, and it turns over just fine. I did this about 3-4 times, 'cuz I know that starting a car takes a lot of volts, but no change. I even let it sit there while I ate, and was still able to start it and drive it 8 blocks. ANY thoughts as to what's goin' on? If, in theory, it is my alternator and/or battery, they're both covered under warranty, but not where I now live. Could I take both parts out of my car and take them with me to have them checked and possibly replaced?

Have your charging system tested for free, check the wire going from the back of the alt to the battery, & verify dash gauge w/dvm & mabe even aftermarket volt meter.
