I've done a search for this topic and didn't really find what I was looking for. Yesterday, I had my oil changed. I've used 10W-30 for a long time now (engine has 177K on it), but yesterday they put "5W-30" in my car. I know it's the same weight, but will this mess anything up? I have had a small leak from around the pan gasket. . .will this oil make the leak slower or faster? Thoughts?
