i picked up a 90 camaro with a 305 v8
rally sport
it needs a new tranny and maybe motor
can i put in a 350 and keep the same transmission, or do i need a different one.
and will i have to change any other components
or shorten my drive shaft?
it has fuel injection.
you'll be doing the 2.8~3.4 swapw/2 extra cylinders. make the 350 block look like the 305. swap everything over. tranny will bolt up w/o any probs. Oh yea, what type of manifold, tpi, tbi????

hey is 950 too much to pay for a complete tear down and rebuild of the tranny, with a corvette cervo upgrade, special power band, high performance 3,4 clutches, and upgrade torque converter? never dealt with trannys before
I think thats a faily good price but remember you get what you pay for. In my opinion its not worth saving a few extra bucks now just to get your tranny back sooner. I personally would wather have a tranny out at a shop for a month and spend twice the money and have it done right the first time than saving a couple hundred bucks right now just to have the tranny worked on constantly for the next year.
