Automatics aren't supposed to stall.
Only when I get up to operating temperature and only 25mph or so and below.... The engine sputters down to about 300 rpm then surges back up. Sometimes it sputters down to stalling and I have to neutral start it. TPS and IAC have been replaced, timing was set, computer was reset... I don't know what else to think. How bout you guys?

it happens anywhere below about 25mph including at idle. Sometimes it'll continue until I get moving again, sometimes it'll stop and the car'll idle wonderfully. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge in yet, so I couldn't tell ya, but the fuel pump was replaced a couple months ago. The computer stored both codes 44 and 45, which detailed in my service manual says 02 sensor circuit (one for rich mixture, one for lean). I've had the car hooked up to a SnapOn scanner and the IAC was working perfectly.

I just want to make this clear that the SnapOn scanner doesn't tell you if the IAC is working perfectly. It tells you what the ecm is commanding it to do. If the pindle was not zeroed out properly during installation, the ecm IAC counts will be off.
Anyways, if you are getting both codes for the O2 sensor, I would look into that.
Alright. I'll check the IAC. The 02 sensor was replaced somewhat recently on a hunch that might be the issue. I believe I used one from bosch.
In the service manual it says to also check the TPS, ignition timing, the 02 sensor pigtail, and a slew of other things if the problem is intermittent (which it is) so I'm runnin through those when I can, I was just wondering if you guys have had the same problem and knew what it was.

Forgive my ignorance. What's that supposed to mean

So I sat and watched the car from a cold start. The idle problems are not present when then motor's cold. It starts (abruptly I might add) somewhere around 130*F. The only possible explanation I could think of was the timing being too advanced. We're rechecking that asap, and also checking out the O2 sensor and pigtail. While I'm at it, I'l check the plugs and wires to make sure that's not the issue. Ill repost after all that's done.
