Hey people. I have a 89 camaro rs 2.8 v6 with a super coil, 9 mm red spark wires, jet pullys , b&m Shift kit, custom cold air ,flowmaster 80 series muffler and next week ill have pace headers but anyways my question is i have no vacumms connected at all and iam pretty sure i dont have the lines or hoses as well. What would getting this done cost? Or if i do it myself were could i get the correct hoses and i do have the vacumm diagram and haynes but haynes dont help much with this subject. But anyways any help would be great. thanks guys!

there should be a vacuum diagram on the hood /radiator support w/the emissions sticker. Props to you for supporting the third gen V6 headers from Pace Setter. AutoZone now has replacement hard plastic lines in the help section. ALso fall back on our bro's w/cars in the tgo v6 section.

for the headers, you'll need lots of PB Blaster or likwid wrench. Soak those bolts to make sure they won't snap when you remove them. a weeks worth of soakin should be fine. don't skimp on them, as snapped bolts in heads suck.

THe help section in AZ, where the have all the replacement stuff in cards. just ask the counter person for it.

Uhh..... so if I get the pace headers and dynomax catback exust system with a 2.5" intermediate pipe and try to install them myself, will everything fit to the stock catalytic converter?Or will just the the headers fit?

kill the stock convertor & get a replacement one. The one I got from AZ ,$65 iirc, has a ball end and it hooked up no prob to my dynomax cat back. If you want to keepthe stock converter (for some reason ;) ) then just get an adapter.

it should. go over to www.thirdgen.org v6 section. Dale has a set of Pace Setters on his camero. Ask him. I know aftermarket/replacement cats will fit,

Is $$$ for a new converter an issue?
