I have a question. I've searched for this and didn't find anything answering my question exactly, but it may be a stupid question: Do 4th gen springs work on 3rd gen cars? What is the difference between V6 springs and V8 springs? Thanks.

I thinkthe rear springs might swap, I know the shocks will. The fronts are definatelya no no.

Both sets of criteria? I'll just get to the meat and potatoes of the whole deal-I found some Hotchkiss springs on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33582 )
Will these work on my car?

4th gen front struts/springs will not work on third gen cars.

4th gen rearshocks will work on thirdgen cars.

Not sure on swappability of rear springs.

Those springs....v the back will work but front could still have you higher than now.

Outta' curiosity, what do you see about those springs that makes you think my ride height will be higher than stock? I sit pretty low to the ground as it is, and I don't really wanna' ride higher, but I do want stiffer suspension.

upgrade your struts then. Yeah the vee-ate springs may be for a one inch rop, but for the vee-ate ones.
Stiffer/adjustable struts will give you what you want & let you keep teh ride heighth that you have already & like.

Unless you want to 'bag the suspension on all 4 corners

KYB, bilstein, the usual aftermarket. remember, anything the vee-ate cars can use, so cain we for suspension.
