Changine Fuel Pump on 3rd gen.

I think my 89 bird needs a fuel pump change.

Now can I change it the same way I did to my 98, by doing a cut out at the top?

You see I don't want to do the cut out and find that there's no fuel pump there.

if you cut, yee will find. just make sure that puppies empty & vented before hand. but then, you've done this before.

The frames are different between the 3rd and 4th gens. If you cut too wide, you will cut the tank support rails and funny things will happen.
