During the end of a very long drive back today, the bright red INFL REST warning light on the instrument panel was lit steadily on. I consulted my Chiltons book and it was difficult to troubleshoot why. My guess was an abnormal glitch. With the ignition off, I checked all fuses and even disconnected the battery to reset it. I can't duplicate it now after another roadtest but it left me wondering about my airbag deploying without notice, any guesses? The difference between orange vs red warning lights made my decision to post immediately. This is off a '91 Firebird 3.1 V6 w/ 260K miles.

Ok, I understand that now but it's weird the light would come on for no apparent reason while driving and for the 1st time ever in front of my eyes. I'll dig deeper in the circuits when I have time, the book mentioned something about the SIR coil.Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles!
