I recently purchased a high output alternator and installed it. I was told that I need to set the car's idle to above 800rpm for it to function properly at 12v.
Currently, the motor idles at around 600/700 and the voltage likes to sink below 12v.
Does anyone know how I would go about upping the idle to 800/900? It would be easy on a carborated model.. lol I'm not all that smart when it comes to fuel injection.
there should be an adjustable screwon the lower right (looking at front of car) to open up the throttle plate some. Another way is to advance the distributor a little
