ok, dash is about 98% back together. Lights in overhead console work, lights in mirror work,footwell lights good, even the light for the a/c switch is good. No shorts/burning insulation from under the dash, which might change after I get the batt charged up. Will now be concentrating on teh engine bay, and getting the wires hooked up for the old school carb conversion. I have most of the parts already, jsut need to connect the dots now. Then fuel (going w/electric fp & mallory 4309 afpr) although I may need to open up under the dash to wire up the pump for the on postion. Then the coolant lines/fittings, and finaly the exhaust.

Again, I have jsut about all the parts already, jsut need the peice them together. Interior isn't all that I wanted, but then right now I just want to drive it.

just have to finish fitting the main harness into that hole by the pass kick panel, and then finish up enigne bay & exhaust

got the fuel pressure set. gonna fix teh wiring to the f/p relay, wire the starter (w/the batt charging all the way) and then turn the key

well.................. I had it coughing & sputtering today. Havve a cookout to goto tomorrow, so maybe Tuesday it will roar teh mighty 305 roar, and smoke us out of the garage, open manifolds & all.

That's good to hear just as long as the smoke you are talking of it not from a electrical fire ;)

I've been really busy I only get a chance to work on the camaro about 5-10 minutes a night, but I'm estatic to see yoru vehicle running, you'll have to stop up!

good luck man i just got my trans am back together with a freshly built motor adn i ended up bending a valve and cracking its guide so be careful and make sure you have toy lash set correctly. than once i did get it all tuned and runnign good after i got the heads done AGAIN!! the new found tourqe ripped the tranny out

Those interior pictures bring back memories of when my friend got his 1988 Formula. He was like the first good friend to get a car. Good times, good times. Now he's moved on to better things like a 2000 Camaro. j/k I love both
