what's the diff between the 3.42 rear & an a tranny w/gears designed for 2.73 (T/A )
well....... running up to 40 the speedo reads approx 5mph faster.
At 60, it reads 75, at 65 it reads 82/83, and w/a speedo only going up to 85 it will be easy to burry it.
Still having a hot running problem, so I'm going to add some water wetter. Also ordered a Holley 4175, the brackets for the fuel/tv cables. Even getting an ignition tuneup kit from jegs.
Main reason for teh new carb is a) off throttle response sux BIG TIME, a moped will dust me until the engien winds up. Probably due to the heating issue, but then I'm also tired of working on quadrajets. Ignition tuneup kit should be self explainitory & also part of the TOmP tune up (in stages).
