well my 83 has some old tint on it thats peeling off and is really crappy...any good ways of getting it all off w/out doing damage to the glass? thanks.

You can get the side tint off with some adhesive remover and a few brand new razor blades. You will not damage the window.

As for the back window you will damage the defroster lines if you remove it. I am not sure how to remove the rear tinr without damaging the rear defroster.

take it to a shop, ask them if they can remove the tint on the rear hatch for cheap

Great. Usually the top layer of the film will pull off in one solid piece. It leaves behind the glue layer. That is when you will need the razor blades and adhesive remover. I believe that they make a tint removal spray. I used WD-40 and it worked out very well. Just take your time and be patient. The doors should be simple, the hatch will probably be a PITA.

All you have to do to get that tint off the back window is, wait for a sunny day and put enough soap and water on it to get a trash bag to stick to it. Then wait about 30 minutes and remove the trash bag and it should pull off easily.

how bout the side windows? can i do that to them too? i eventually got it all off the hatch using a blade and wd-40...

oh its going good and now i can start saving up for my 383 stroker :) got the gta wheels on it,tried putting the gta taillights on it but its made different and cant get the key in the trunk lock so i had to go back to stock tail's,and was working on getting the gfx off but thats a hassle so im gonna stick to the no gfx look. im excited

just go w/the dash mounted hatch release. I just gooped up mine & filled it in.
